We had trouble finding an open restaurant on our first trip to the Cape (we were here in the off-season), but found The Weatherdeck Family Restaurant as we were driving through town. We are so glad we did! My husband & I each got the fish & chips & ordered a small side of onion rings. The servings were huge (we both got at least 2 meals out of this!)! We actually thought they had mistakenly given us a large order of onion rings, but nope, the small was that big! The young gentleman who took our order had a great, welcoming personality! Everything was delicious & we look forward to visiting on our next trip!

This place was surprisingly good. I really didn’t have too high expectations for a restaurant where you order at the counter and go up and get the food yourself. Boy, was I wrong? The employees were friendly and made us feel welcome. If I’m in this area again, I’d absolutely consider eating here again.

The service was fast and friendly, and if you just want a fat-heaping basket of hot delicious fried shrimp, you will be quickly introduced to one! Then, after you eat an irresponsible amount of sea commas, you can go out to the minigolf course and get emasculated by your wife in from of your snarky ten-year-old for hole after hole after deceptively challenging hole.
